About m​e

A little about me... My name is Sandy Cochrane, and I have worked at the University of Calgary my whole career, until recently. In 1987 I worked in Food Services for 8 years where I started as a dishwasher, then I ran my own kiosk/coffee bar in Scurfield Hall, then I became the inventory control manager for 22 snack bars all over campus. In that role I was also responsible for signage and marketing materials for the snack bars, which lead me to where I am today. 

I found my passion for design and creativity and moved to the medical campus where I worked in Multimedia for 25 years. In June of 2020, Multimedia closed permanently due to budgetary reasons. I have decided to carry on by opening my own home-based business offering many of the same services that Multimedia offered; Poster Printing, Mounted posters for easels, Medical & Technical illustrations, Signage, Laminating, Brochure design, Group composites, Photo restoration, Logo design and Custom framing.

On a personal note, I also love woodworking, photography, golfing and traveling. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign as well as Microsoft PowerPoint. I often use illustrator to design my woodworking projects beforehand so I can visualize every detail. I look forward to working with you on your project.
